I believe I will make a good impact on your team because I’m a very hard worker and capable of listening, comprehending, and trying new things. Commiting to two sports since my freshman year of high school, and attending the state competition in both sports each year shows I am dedicated and willing to put forth the amount of time and work it takes to compete at a college level. While working hard for sports I also make sure I have time for my studies so I can keep good grades and test scores. I’m proud to say I’ve attended two state track meets throwing the shot put without even having a ring to work in at my high school while having honors classes at the same time.  Throwing the shot has taught me no matter what you have or how big your school is, if you try your hardest and dedicate yourself in both academics and sports you will succeed.
