Personal Statement

Hi, I'm Karysa. Running never used to be something I enjoyed until I joined track and realized that it's one of my biggest passions. When I'm competing the only thing that I can focus on is doing the best that I can and completing the run to the best of my ability,  whether I'm in first or not. I believe my willingness to learn and always improve makes me coachable. Although, sometimes I allow my head to get competive which causes me to doubt myself, but that also makes me push myslelf harder until I know that I can do something correctly and efficently.
