I have been running track ever since I was 11 years old, and I knew from the start I wanted to run at the collegiate level. From this day forward I have been training to develop my speed along with my strength.
While being on the team, I will be a motivator, role model, and put the team first. But to bring it all together I am a leader year-round, no matter the season. I believe this is important because this will influence the younger generation to challenge their abilities to compete at the next level. Being a great person in and out of season will also bring in more support for the future community I may compete at.
As a multi-sport student-athlete, I always will put my academics first. Throughout my years in school, I have always used my time wisely to keep my grades above average to be on the Honor Roll. I believe academics are important and will continue to take pride in them. I am also a great advocator of living a healthy lifestyle, so I train all seven days of the week. Whether this is for a specific sport, strength, agility, or a camp. Having a healthy body is key to enhancing your skills at a faster pace.
Having the ability to continue my passion for track has always been a goal of mine, and I will do what I can to achieve this. I will continue to train, and enhance my skills daily.
