Personal Statement

My name is Julia Redmond and coming from a family of 8 I had to work hard to stand out. In high school I joined clubs and have been a three sport athlete since 7th grade. I lettered in every varsity sport since my freshman year but track and field has always been my favorite. It's a sport where what you put in you get out and it shows in your times.  I've improved my times by almost a second in both my 100 and 200 and I strive to continue that through my junior and senior years.  My love for running has fueled my dream of being a collegiate athlete in track and field and I hope to be an asset to a team in the future.
