Hello my name is Madisyn and I am currently a Junior at Cheyenne Central High School in Cheyenne, Wyoming. I started my journey of track and field 6 years ago. Although, I am a multi-sport athlete, my passion lies with track and field. I quickly learned what it felt like to be part of a team and how important it is to support one another. I strongly believe with the encouragement of my teammates that this makes me strive to do my best.
In High Jump, I broke the school record my 8th grade year (2019) and also broke a 41 year school record my Sophomore year (2021) In which I currently hold as of today. My Junior year (2022) I broke that record once again. I try and push myself to do more events and with a lot of convincing from the hurdles coach, I also made huge improvements with the 100m and 300m hurdles.
I strongly believe in working hard both academically and athletically. My goals are to find a career in the medical field to help others. I look forward to competing in track the next two years of high school and would love the opportunity to take it with me through my college years.
