I want to compete in track at the collegiate level because I have a true love of athletics, and want to continue with it throughout my life. I play volleyball and basketball as well as doing track because I just love being active and competing. With only 8 girls on my track team for 2019, we were able to be the 2A regional champs and also took 3rd at state. I have been the state champion triple jumper for 2018 and 2019, and my medley relay team also holds the state, regional, and school record. I love competing in jumping and running and have had a lot of success doing both. I was awarded the top female athlete for track in my school for my entire high school career so far. I am determined to do my best at everything and put in the effort that it takes. I set goals for myself and make sure that I achieve those goals. I am very disciplined in my training and train year round. I have a personal trainer who has designed workouts in order to help me be a better track athlete. I enjoy being a student athlete and pride myself on having a 4.0. I strive to get good grades so that I can attend a good college or univeristy to further my education in business and accounting. I am a very outgoing person with lots of leadership experience. I love meeting new people and making new friends, I have found that track is great for that. We compete against each other, but at the end of the day we all encourage each other and congratuate each other in our sucesses and maintain our friendships.
