Katilyn Grant '23 Recruiting Profile

I'm a  starting 5'10 Varsity MH Senior (Class of 2023) at Thompson HS, Alabaster, AL.  I've played as a MH for 5 years and this year my Coach is giving me an opportunity to broaden my skills by playing as a outside hitter as well.  I look forward to the challenge and opportunity to grow.  Last season, our team made it to 7A HS “The Final Four” State Championship where I completed my season with 322 kills and 87 total blocks. 

As a part of my college experience, I would love to continue playing volleyball. I’ve worked hard to maintain my hitting and blocking technique during travel club this season.  Volleyball is what I love to do. I don’t mind doing what it takes to be the best whether it’s conditioning, practicing, or staying up late to make those GRADES.  Academically my goal is Nursing specializing in Neonatal Care or Social Work.
