My collegiate goals and aspirations is to play volleyball in college. I would like to be able to play defensive specialist or a libero. I have also played rightside/oppo in my high school career. In college, I want to get better at volleyball and learn from my teammates and my future coaches.
I think I would be a good candidate for your team because I am a very hard worker and i put my full effort into everything that I do. For example, my freshman year of high school I made the C-2 team for my school. After high school volleyball season, I tried out for a club team. I made the C team but that didn’t stop me. I kept on working hard in practice and the head coach of inspire started watching me at my tournaments. Then she invited me to go to Colorado with their 14’s team. I was so excited to go and I worked my butt off when we were in Colorado. The next school season year my coach invited me back to the varsity tryouts. Then I made varsity that year and I’ve been working hard ever since. My junior year, I was a starter and a captain and I got an honorable mention for the conference.
Something that makes me different from other recruits are that like I said before I work very hard in everything I do, I play more than one sport so then I can stay in shape for volleyball, and my grades are all A’s and B’s. Although I am shorter than most rightsides, I make up for my hard work and determination. I want to keep playing volleyball throughout college because I love it and I love pushing myself to be able to grow as a player and a person.
