I am Jenessa Ross from Eagle River, Alaska. I am a well-rounded student athlete. I am a hard worker and I am motivated to keep good grades. I especially love science and hope to major in a pre-professional health degree. I also enjoy watching and playing sports, especially volleyball. I have been playing club volleyball since fifth grade. I played JV and Varsity during middle school. I just finished my last season of high school volleyball on the Varsity Team for Eagle River High School. My favorite positions to play are setter and defensive specialist; however, I have played every position at some point in my career and I am willing to strengthen my skills in other positions. I am a good candidate for your volleyball program because I am a positive and encouraging player and a good teammate. I am also coach-able and willing to learn from my coaches.
Not only do I excel in academics and athletics, I am also a musician. I play the cello, bass guitar, and electric guitar and I dabble with the piano. I also volunteer for my church children's ministries and have spent several summers working at a local summer Bible camp.
My dream is to play volleyball in college. I look forward to playing with you in the future!
