Hello coaches! Let me tell you a little bit about myself! I am a sophomore who played as the setter on my high school girls senior team and on my club team I am a setter working to transition to being a libero. I fell in love with playing volleyball in 2020-21. That was my first year playing competitive volleyball and I haven’t looked back. Over the last 4 seasons I have taken time to work on my mental toughness, personal training and being a leader on and off the court.
I view myself as an outgoing, and energetic person but I also get nervous energy leading up to big games and tournaments. While some may see my height as an obstacle, I view it as an advantage! My physical speed, quick reflexes and court awareness allows me to play multiple positions.
On another note, my academic goals for high school are to get on the honor roll each semester from grade ten through the end of grade twelve. After high school I am focused on earning a bachelors degree in business with a major in finance or insurance risk management or going into business law.
