Hailey Long '26 Recruiting Profile

Hello, im Hailey Long a 5'10 Outside Hitter from Calgary, Alberta. Thank you for taking the time to view my profile and get to know me. 

I have been extremely passionate about volleyball ever since I started playing around 4 years ago. I am working to pursue a Post-Secondary career in Volleyball all while receiving a high quality Education in Kinesiology. I believe I am a strong fit in the outside position due to my ability to read any situation and adjust quickly in order to put my team in a better position or gain the point. I value a hard working and family like team environment as I myself am a competitive, hard-working, and strong-minded athlete. My teams have always been a second family to me and I want to bring that family like culture with me where ever I go. I have always been a natural leader, whether I hold the captain title or not I lead my team both in games and training. Both myself and others would consider me a supportive person who encourages and pushes her teammates to be their best. 

My interest in Science and Athletics has pushed me towards receiving a education in Kinesiology, although I am not fully set on what specific field of Kinesiology I want to go into im very interested in being a physiotherapist.
