I am an excellent candidate for your team because I have an incomparably positive attitude on and off the court. I show respect to my teammates and coaches and I am always looking for feedback on how to improve. When given feedback I apply it to real-game scenarios. I am fiercely competitive and strive to succeed. I know I can not always win, so I look to improve after every game, physically and mentally.
As a French Immersion student working on a bilingual diploma, I have always learnt to work hard, whether it be in the classroom or on the court. Learning another language is one thing, but applying that language to all your core classes is another. Being a dual sport athlete, (Volleyball and Fastball), and an honour roll student has shown me that my mental wellness is very important. The free time that I have, I use to prioritize my healing, resting and nutrition. As an athlete, I know that burnout is hard to deal with, it destroys your mental game which affects performance. I know how to balance my life as a student, an athlete, and a teenager. What makes me different from other recruits is my ability to tell when I've taken on too much, when I need to step back, or when I need to push through!
