First and most importantly is my education, but volleyball is a close second. I will be going for a bachelors and masters degree in business but I can't imagine doing this without playing the sport I've fallen in love with, at any competitive level.
My passion is unmatched and allowed me, as a junior in high school, to outplay 2 senior liberos as a first year varsity player. We were still able to maintain a great team chemistry and made it to the first round of playoffs. I did everything I could to make sure I got that position and once I did, I didn't let it go and returned as the libero for my senior year. I managed to keep my grades as A’s while playing school ball and during club season. I have continued with the same mind set through the 2 years I’ve played for Lincoln Trail Community College. I worked hard on and off the court which earned me the Libero position here as well. I look forward to doing the same with any university that will allow me the opportunity to play for them.
I have always given my all during practice and games. I plan to keep working my hardest to be the best teammate and player I can be. I will take any advice and corrections from my coaches as i have in the past to better my playing abilities.
