Mackenzie Welch '18 Recruiting Profile

My passion is Volleyball, but my main goal is to complete my college education, and to go forward in life as a Veterinarian that specializes in Equine Therapy. I would truly love to play Volleyball in College! I'm as competitive as they come and there's nothing better than WINNING! I do realize that even in a loss, if you learned a lesson or improved your skills, it is still a win. I love to laugh and to be a part of a team, building lifelong friendships. I strongly believe that it takes a whole team to accomplish a win, not just one player. I am tall and strong and I use my size to my advantage ! I will continue with my weight training and conditioning, clean eating, attending clinics, playing school ball and club ball to continue improving my skills to be a better player. I have the drive and determination to reach all of my goals, and I will not stop until I make it happen. I am extremely lucky to have an amazing family that supports me in all of my endeavors, and they are always in the stands to support me! I'm a strong athlete, and an academically strong student.
