London Krahn '25 Recruiting Profile

My name is London Krahn, and I am a Middle Blocker from Abbotsford BC. I started playing Volleyball when I was 11 years old. Since then, I have come a long way and found that I have a true passion for the sport. I have learned and grown so much, not only in my skills and athletic abilities, but as a person and a teammate. Volleyball has been a significant aspect in my life and has helped me become the person that I am today. It has built my confidence and given me lifelong friends. 

I have played club volleyball since 2019, but this past summer I was preselected at provincials to attend the Team BC red and blue HP camp in Kamloops BC. From there, I made the provincial team, Team BC and continued to train for another week in Kamloops. We then traveled to St. Catherines Ontario to compete in the CANADA CUP, where I received an all star award. This experience was even better than I imagined it would be. I got to meet people I probably would never have met otherwise, I was tested not only physically, but mentally as it was a completely new experience and environment for me, and I got to compete at a high level against other girls who share the same passion as I do. I got a glimpse into what post secondary volleyball looks like, as we stayed in dorms and got to train consistently in a university gym. I realized this is something I really want to pursue. I also enjoyed getting to play with new people and figuring out our groove as a new team in such a short amount of time. 

Given the opportunity, I would truly love to play the sport post secondary.
