Shale Maurice '27 Recruiting Profile

My name is Shale Maurice, and I play as an outside hitter and right side hitter, though I am comfortable in any position on the volleyball court. I am a very coachable player, open to new ideas and tips. Academically, I am a high achiever, having received the Principal's Award of Excellence for maintaining a 90% average in grade eight. My athletic goals are ambitious: I aim to make Team BC in grade 10, train hard, and make a natinal team before university(depending on what I decide for school) and I aspire to play university or college volleyball. In university or college I would like to do buisness, kinesiology, or any field of work that catches my eye in the future. Thanks to my mom's guidance, I have developed a strong work ethic, grit, and motivation. I strive to be a good teammate by arriving early to practice, helping set up nets, and reassuring teammates after mistakes. My efforts have earned me numerous accolades, including MVP awards and top finishes in provincial tournaments.
