My name is Avery Willis, I am a 6'0" middle blocker/hitter with some right-side experience. I aim to be recruited/to play collegiate-level volleyball in Canada or the U.S. alongside my post-secondary education. I can be a valuable member of a team because I have a positive energy that is contagious to others and a courteous competitive nature. I am a dedicated, driven student who earns grades at a consistent A level, with a talent for English and psychology, and a passion for art and choir. I have always adored sports, I competed seriously in track and field, and spent a few years learning jiu-jitsu, as well as playing soccer and touch rugby. My volleyball journey began in fifth grade and I am now in grade 11 and I've never been more passionate about my sport. I am determined to put in as much work as necessary to develop my skills to bring out the potential in myself and show that I have what it takes to be recruited not only for skill but for infectious energy as a teammate and athlete.
