Corinne Kovacevich '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Corinne Kovacevich. I am 5 6" tall and a Libero/DS specialist. I just completed my 3rd year on my high school's varsity team. I started playing volleyball at the age of 9 and was recruited that year to play on a travel team. I have participated on a travel team for the last 7 years and I absolutely love the game of volleyball. I am a great candidate for any College team that is looking for a player that is highly competitive, driven,  and passionate about the game. I play to win, and when I compete it never feels like work, because when you are doing something you love, it never feels like work. I push myself to always strive to get better with each and every game that I play. If I make a mistake while competing, I make a point of not repeating that mistake and push myself to be the best athlete I can be. I have an extremely strong and accurate serve and my ball control is spot on. I am able to pass the ball accurately with every play. I have great speed and I love being a part of a team.  I take direction well and I have always respected any Coach I have played for. My goals are to graduate from a four year College with honors while playing the game that I love. I am a team player and a goal driven person who takes competition very seriously. I feel it is important to always dream big and to make those dreams come true through hard work and by making good decisions. I feel I would be an asset to any team that is seeking a player that is there to win and to be a team player.
