Personal Statement

I started playing volleyball when I was 11 years old. My parents always encouraged me to try several different sports since I was blessed with a height advantage at an early age. Once I found volleyball, it became my life and passion.

I strive to be a leader on and off the court. I always try to encourage my teammates and keep them focused and energized during the games. My coaches have told me that I'm the hardest working player on the team and that I'm very coachable. I always try to be optimistic and I aspire to achieve my personal goals. School does not come easy for me, but I always try my best. I am motivated to overcome my challenges with my studies in order to continue my volleyball career.

I desire to play volleyball at the collegiate level and throughout the rest of my life. I hope to be a role model to younger volleyball players and make my parents and family proud!

The Rock Institute

I train with Tyler Janclaes from the Rock Institute weekly. We work on core, conditioning, strength and agility. In addition, we do weekly beach workouts as well.
