My name is Bella Branconier and I am a senior at Xavier College Prep in Palm Desert. I started playing volleyball in sixth grade and have been in love with the sport ever since. Volleyball has been heavily influencing my life for the past six years and I do not want that relationship to end when I graduate high school. My primary position has been middle blocker for many seasons now, but not only do I have experience all over the front row, I am a capable passer (if I do say so myself). I am a quick player who knows how to see the court and put the ball where it needs to go. My loudness and excitement for the game is prevalent whenever I am playing, and I will never pass up a chance to cheer for my teammates. Every practice I try to become a more coachable player, and I work hard to see improvement in my game.
Academics are also a very important aspect of my live. I have a 3.9 gpa accumulated from courses I picked throughout high school, many of which were honors and AP. I greatly value my education, furthermore I am very excided to pursue a higher level of education in college. I plan on studying environmental science with the end goal of becoming an environmental protection lawyer. Being a student athlete throughout high school has created some of my favorite and most memorable experiences in life, and I hope to get an opportunity to continue that throughout college.
