Dear Coaches,

I hope this message finds you well. My name is Ava Medrano, and I am a passionate volleyball player currently attending Quartz Hill High School, graduating in the class of 2024. Standing at 5'3" with a GPA of 3.6, I am dedicated to both my academic pursuits and my athletic journey.

Volleyball has been my life's passion since I first picked up a ball in the 4th grade. I began my journey in the sport by playing for a team in Puerto Rico at the age of 9, and since then, I have honed my skills as a setter, opposite, libero, and defensive specialist (DS). My versatility on the court has allowed me to adapt to various positions and playstyles, contributing to the success of my teams over the years.

On and off the court, I am known for my unwavering dedication and spirited demeanor. While I am loud and energetic during games, I am also able to channel that intensity into focused and disciplined play. I approach each match with a serious mindset, giving my all and leading by example to inspire my teammates to do the same. Through my years of playing volleyball, I have not only improved as a player but also as a leader, mentoring my peers, offering encouragement, and striving to be a positive role model for those around me.
