Tyler Rickert '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a good candidate for a college team because I excel in school and have been committed to playing volleyball since 5 grade. I am different from other candidates because I am adaptable and have an aggressive playing style. I have experienced all positions on the court at the high school level. This has helped me develop an eye for reading offenses.  I enjoy contributing to a team that has a growth mindset. I want to be the best player I can be and be satisfied at the end of the day knowing that I put everything I had on the court. My favorite thing about volleyball is winning, but second to that are my teammates. My fondest moments come from the time I spent with my teammates and celebrating their victories on the court. Finally, I have been able to balance multiple AP and Honor classes while spending many hours a week on the court. Throughout all of this, I have earned Honor Roll every semester.
