Moving has been a big part of my life, it has made me stronger as a person. I learned how to adapt to a totally different circumstances in school and sports. I have also learned how to value friendships. 4years ago my dad mentioned volleyball to me and it seemed very interesting and really fun to play. I began playing AAU volleyball the Spring of my 6th grade year. I knew that I wouldn’t just show up and make the team so the winter before that I spent a ton of time practicing for tryouts. Practicing volleyball that winter, I began to fall in love with the sport. The main thing that I have learned about myself playing volleyball is how much I can grow in a small period of time because of my passion for it. My academic goal in high school is to graduate with a 4.0 or higher GPA. My goal for college is to study and graduate with a Bachelor’s degree in Pre-Med.
I am an all-around athlete, I have played most sports that are available to me. The sports that I play are Volleyball, Beach Volleyball and Track. Some of my accomplishments that I am proud of in these sports include making and playing on my HS varsity team as a Freshman. My sophomore year I led the Varsity team in Kills as well. I am most proud that I was able to make the NCVC 16-1 team in the Sacramento area. NCVC is a National Qualifying team so I am really excited about learning from the coaches and competing against players from all over the country. In track, I was the only girl on my team to be a State Champion as a 7th grader, I competed in the 400 meter and my time was 1:03. I also took second in State with high jump.
