Ashleigh Souza '19 Recruiting Profile

    Over the past 6 years, volleyball has built me into the person I am today.  It has not only taught me the fundamentals and the mental aspect of the game, but also how to manage academics and time.  With the help of an outstanding coaching staff these past few years, I am capable to play any position. I hope to enroll to a school that fits me academically and athletically.  Although I have not decided on a major yet, I plan to educate myself through Pre-Med or Business.  

    Aside from volleyball, I am apart of the Salinas High School A Capella and plan to continue singing throughout my high school career. Music is a large part of my life and I am thankful to be in such a great extracurricular activity.  I also love to give back to my community, especially with my church or younger children.  Within the next few years, I hope to travel someplace out of the country to help communities in need. 

    With that said, I am a strong player and leader in volleyball and I would be grateful to play at any college who is interested. Thank you for reading my statement!
