Gabrielle Carbonel '21 Recruiting Profile

I am a hard working, coachable, and hard driven student athlete. My college aspirations are to increase my skills and my love for volleyball, while remaining my competitiveness for the sport. Growing up I was very competitive and tried different sports like karate and competitive swimming for 5 years before volleyball. Doing these sports has made my drive for competing against others grow larger. What makes me different from other recruits is my high energy and how I want to better myself everyday whether it is on or off the court.  Another quality that makes me different from other recruits is how versatile I am by my skill level on the Volleyball court. Academics wise, I love to be challenged in class by how I always shoot to be better than I was the day before. I am a very serious athlete and student, however I am able to make everything seem as if I am having fun with doing what I love with teammates or classmates surrounding me.
