Keely Hummel '24 Recruiting Profile

I grew up in a volleyball gym attending practices and matches with my mom and dad (coaches).  I started playing at the age of 6, and knew then that I wanted to play in college and beyond.  The path to fulfill my goals will be challenging, but it will also be an amazing experience that I really look forward to.

I strive to lead by example whether on or off the court.  I am coachable and pride myself on being the hardest working athlete in the gym.  I have a local strength and conditioning coach who I work with 4 days a week.  I am currently practicing three days a week with Rage Volleyball Club.  I love learning and analyzing the game. 

Being self-motivated and persevering have helped me be successful in the classroom. I maintain a cumulative GPA of 3.8. I am involved in numerous campus clubs and extracurricular activities. The balance of academics, athletics, extracurricular activities and social activities have allowed me to learn the importance of time management.  

My goal is to be a student athlete at the Division 1 level. I am looking for a university that is strong in both academics and athletics.  I look forward to hearing from you!
