Volleyball is my passion! I have been playing for five years and ever since I started, I have wanted to play at the college level.
As all of my coaches, past and present, will attest; I am enthusiastic and encouraging, a quick study, very coachable, and a hard worker; always willing to go the extra mile for the benefit of my team and to challenge myself to never settle. I am a very athletic, versatile player. I have played outside, middle, and right side. My current club coach calls me his "jack of all trades"!
I realized after my freshman year that getting a college scholarship required more than being a good volleyball player. Beginning my sophomore year, I concentrated more on my studies to make myself more marketable. I continue to challenge myself by taking hard classes and doing the best I can. I volunteer at local youth volleyball camps during the spring and summer, volunteer at a local physical therapy clinic, and was a member of student government as well as Vice President of my class.
Being raised in a family with five kids has taught me to be a team player as well as a strong leader. I hope to attend a college where I can utilize these assets and where coaches won't be afraid to challenge me to be the best I can be. I am open to all options and want to play at the highest level of competition possible.
