Volleyball has been my sport since the beginning of fourth grade. I started as an outside and played middle for one season, but eventually switched back to outside. I always played with girls older than me since my career started and I couldn't be happier because of it. When I was in fourth grade I was playing with fifth and sixth-graders. When I was in sixth I was with seventh and eighth-graders. My school teams in middle school went undefeated and we won multiple league championships.
Freshman year I played varsity. I played as an opposite on this team and we won the state championship for Division V. This was an incredible experience and I am going to push my team to really try to win state again next fall.
Academics have remained very important to me throughout my entire volleyball career.
