There have been a few influential things in my life that have made me who I am today. During grade school I went to a Catholic school and made amazing friends; one of them was diagnosed with brain cancer and we ended up losing him. This made me realize that I can't take the little things for granted. I decided to dedicate the rest of my high school season and my club season to him. Volleyball has always been something that I can go to and find my happy place. I have learned many things about me, I learned that I can be very outgoing, and I have learned that I'm not as shy as I thought. I also learned that making mistakes makes me better in more things then I realized. I have always been determined to make sure that I am doing the best I can, so I can see my real potential in what I'm doing.
