The first time I stepped onto a volleyball court was in the summer of 2013 when our local recreation center hosted team tryouts. Although I was only 7 years old, volleyball became my passion as I was enthralled with the game. I continued to play on recreation center teams throughout elementary school. In middle school, I tried out for the school team and was placed at progressively higher levels every year. I’ve continued this journey in high school and have been a starter and all-around player at both the Junior Varsity and Varsity levels. In 2019, I began playing with club teams.
As a student-athlete, I take my grades seriously and strive to achieve and maintain academic excellence. I plan to pursue a degree in veterinary medicine and want to obtain my education at a university that has high academic standards and also values my athletic abilities. Being a member of a team means more to me than winning or losing, it means learning to be a leader, refining my skills, training hard, being a friend to my teammates on & off the court, and representing my school.
I am a great candidate for your team because I bring good energy and positive vibes and will always give my all day in and day out. It would be an honor to attend your university.
