I have been playing volleyball competitively since middle school and it has always been an aspiration of mine to play in college. My height has held me back from early recruitment but I am starting now as I dream to play in college. Volleyball has been my secondary sport until this past year (2018) my primary sport had always been lacrosse. Now that I have prioritized volleyball I have a better understanding of what it takes to play in college. As a student-athlete, I would prioritize my academics over my sport and also have aspirations of going to medical school after undergraduate college. That being said, at the moment my main goal is to play volleyball and be on a team in a continuance of a family setting, a team to me is like a second family and I want to preserve that throughout college.
I learned the value of teamwork, commitment, sacrifice, and leadership these past few years. I'm looking for a program that will be a good fit for me athletically as well as academically. I believe I not only have the talent to compete for a college team, but the character, work ethic, and leadership skills to make an immediate impact on your program.
