Marianna Hernandez '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello, my name is Marianna Hernandez, I am part of the graduating class of 2023 at Brien McMahon Highschool in Norwalk, CT. My primary position is Libero/DS. I have been playing the best sport in the entire world since I was in 8th grade, finding my love for it at the beach. Every day I aspire to become a better player by practicing in my backyard, going all out in practice, and watching film. I love listening to advice and making mistakes because I know that it will allow me to grow, not only as a player, but as a teammate, friend, and person. Growth and challenges excite me as I see myself and teammates develop into better players. As captain of my volleyball team, I love to show leadership skills and help my teammates flourish. Being the loudest on the court and the one to slow things down motivates me to play my best for my teammates, after all, I’m there to make them better. Working together and flowing nicely with my team to make beautiful plays is what ignites my passion for this wonderful sport of volleyball.
