Most volleyball players start playing at a young age, I started playing in 9th Grade. I began my interest in volleyball in the 7th grade. I had been wondering what sports I wanted to play in high school. Ever since then I've done everything in my ability to become a better player. I let everyone around me know that that's what I wanted to do. I watched multiple videos on the basics and how to get better and I worked hard to achieve the things I have. Camps and training are always an amazing idea to help an athlete get better at the sport they want to do but they are also very expensive. With money in mind I took it into my own hands to practice every chance that I could over the summer to make me a better player.
I made my freshman high school team and was very proud because it didn't come easy. Through the season I made sure I was positive and helpful and kind to all my teammates and was a coachable player. Which later earned me the "Best Teammate" award. I am a hard worker when it comes to things outside of volleyball too. I work hard and try my best to be a great student when it comes to school work. Of course that doesn't come easy so I try and study as much as I can to get better grades. I want to major in education in college because I know that a teacher is a very important part of a child's life. I want to be able to help kids learn in a way they understand. College is a big thing for me because I have lots of dreams that I know I can achieve for my future.
When I step onto a court I feel excitement and thrill, I don't know where volleyball is going to lead me but I know I want it in my future.
