Hi, I am Bella! I am a junior at Archmere Academy and am a Libero/DS on Premier Edge 17s team. I always try to set high academic goals for myself, I am determined to be on honor roll or distinguished honor roll for my remaining two years of high school. I am a hard worker and I am always willing to challenge myself both academically and athletically. I had originally tried out for Brandywine Volleyball Club in sixth grade so I could become close with a group of girls. Over the years I have learned to not only value competitiveness, but see the importance in being a supportive teammate. My coaches have found that my high court IQ has not only improved my own play, but has led me to be an asset to my teammates. I was fortunate to be a team captain for three years. Volleyball has taught me how much a positive leader can make an impact on others. Because of this sport, I have learned that I enjoy being a motivator and team player. I believe I would be able to add to a program by being a part of a great community and facilitating strong team chemistry.
In my spare time I enjoy taking guitar lessons and playing music. I volunteer at school and community events to help others. Over the summer, I have a lot of fun being a counselor and teaching younger children how to play volleyball. I also enjoy spending quality time with my friends and my family. Volleyball has been an important part of my life and I hope to continue my career as I become a collegiate player.
