Hannah Picconi '19 Recruiting Profile

I have been playing volleyball since 6th grade and have continually grown to love it throughout the years.  Every year I have made new goals for myself that I strive to reach, but one goal that has stuck with me is the opportunity to play in college where I can continue doing what I love.  Although I have spent most of my time strengthening as a middle hitter, I take any opportunity I receive to also work on becoming a better player all the way around the court.  I know that success on the court is not only revealed through great plays or even winning, but though the encouragement you can bring to your teammates and the hard work put forth in every game, no matter the opponent.  Off the court, I am disciplined academically having earned myself a spot on National Honor Society.  I believe that working hard towards something is important and will reveal its rewards in time.  It is important to stay focused and responsible as a student athlete.
