My collegiate goals are to study law and/ or journalism. Becoming a lawyer or a criminologist would be a dream. I have a passion for photography. I believe I am a good recruit because I am underestimated. Defenders look at my size and height as a weakness, whereas I use them as my strength. I am strong at serving because I practice technique. The power behind my serve is surprising to most. What makes me a good team member is being able to understand the emotions of others and provide them with the support they need to stay focused in a game. I am caring and concerned for the well-being of others. It is important to help build a strong team instead of being the focus. This makes me different from my counterparts. Yes, I want to win every game I play but, my focus is on improving and becoming a better team member. My mother has taught me that balance is important. Balancing sports and academics was a challenge freshman year but, I rose to the occasion. Being a skilled player is only half the journey.
