Finding positive moments in everyday activities is very important! I take that thought with me on the volleyball court. I love playing the sport and being part of a team. I see my teammates aspart of my extended family. I work hard to support my team and keep them positive during the good times and the bad. For my junior year, I will be a leading Middle Blocker. Our high school team won the State Title in 2017 and went to the Quarter Finals in 2018. My Club Team has advanced to the USAV Girls Junior National Championships for the last three years. I enjoy competing and winning and hope to take that with me on to college.
I am creative on and off of the court. I am currently in an International Marketing Program at my High School and am interested in graphic design. I am thinking of a major in either graphic design or something in the medical field working with children, because I also enjoy my science classes. I am taking AP and Honors courses, and work hard to keep up my grades. My parents are very successful in their careers and have been able to juggle work and family life with me and my older sister. They have taught me a lot about work ethics. Managing Club Volleyball and a tough school load has also helped teach me about endurance. Outside of school and volleyball, I enjoy the beach, volunteering at our local Community Hospice, and playing with my dog.
