As a player, I personally have a mindset to be better than I was yesterday. Every time I step onto a volleyball court, I strive to get better every game. My personal goal for collegiate level volleyball is to become a starter as soon as I step into the program. I am a good candidate for any team because first and foremost, I love to lead, with good leadership a team is unified which allows them to be able to win anything. Another important aspect of volleyball for me is that what the coach says is what goes because a coach ultimately has more experience, is an adult who I respect, and the backbone of the team. A saying that I always try to achieve accomplishments through is, "teamwork makes the dream work." As much as I love volleyball, my academics always come first because without the ability to perform well in the classroom, I am unable to step onto a court. Academics are very important to me and because I work hard in everything I do, I have been able to obtain a 4.0+ gpa throughout high school thus far. This is definetly the sport I love and giving up is not in my vocabulary because I would not just be giving up on myself, I would also be giving up on my teammates who are my sisters with an unbreakable bond.
