Aloha coaches! My name is RyAnne Raffipiy and I am a middle blocker/outside hitter for a club called A Mother's Prayer. I am currently junior attending St. Joseph High School on the Big Island of Hawaii. I am a well-rounded player, and I can play all 6 positions on the court if needed. I have trained not only for hitting and blocking, but I have trained in passing through playing beach volleyball. I can fill in any position because I know how to play all of them.
It's common knowledge that this pandemic is difficult for everyone. All indoor facilities on the Big Island are closed along with all sports being cancelled. I am using this time to work on myself and reach out to all colleges who might be possibly interested. I don't want this pandemic to bring me down, I want to take as much advantage as I could.
I like to balance out my academics and my sports. Right now, I take two AP classes with five other core classes. Since I go to a private school, the classes are harder than the average public school class. I have a 4.0 GPA and maintained staying on Honor Roll and Principle's List my whole middle school and high school life. I want to become a defense attorney or probably even become a private investigator.
