Nadia Koanui '22 Recruiting Profile

From growing up watching my older brother play, I found the love for volleyball on the small outdoor basketball court of my elementary school. Getting cut from the team in the 4th grade motivated me to make the team the following year. With my love for the sport growing, I soon joined club volleyball and am now going on my 7th year of playing. Each year I improve and grow (although I wish a lot in height), and have grown more and more fond of the sport. My competitiveness takes place not only on the court but as well as in my everyday life. I find it important as well to have a good connection not only with my teammates, but my coaches who will help me improve as well. I desire to go into the medical field after I complete my four years, and plan on taking a major that will help me reach that goal.
