I am a setter born and raised on the island of Kaua'i in Hawai'i. I have grown up around this sport since I was born with my grandparents and mom assistant coaching the varsity program at our high school while growing up. I have been playing volleyball since I was 8 years old and have always aspired to play in the collegiate level. I immediately fell in love with the sport and my family has supported and coached me since day 1. I come from a volleyball family with my mom playing volleyball in college and my grandparents being a part of the high school program for over 16 years. The people around me have always pushed me to be better and challenge myself by playing with older girls for most of my life. I have been playing varsity volleyball since my freshman year and was the starting setter for both my freshman and sophomore years. During my sophomore campaign we went undefeated and got into the state championship game, unfortunately we lost that game but I made the Division II All Tournament team. Unfortunately, my junior season was cancelled due to covid but I am ready to get back on the court as soon as possible. I may not be as tall as other recruits but I have the work ethic, the drive, commitment, passion, grit, and talent to be a good fit for your program.
