Personal Statement

I have been involved in volleyball since I was born. I started playing club volleyball in fifth grade, and since then, it has helped me grow and discover who I am. I have always wanted to play volleyball at the next level, and I am determined to seize the opportunity to play in college.

I have strong hands and can accurately push the ball to any spot on the court. My powerful serve allows me to put pressure on the opposing team, and I am capable of playing multiple positions, such as defensive specialist (DS) and pin hitter. I work hard to be well-rounded in all skills, and I possess strong mental toughness along with a high volleyball IQ.

I love being a team leader and taking on leadership roles within the team. I encourage my teammates and strive to be someone they can count on. I am reliable when it comes to showing up and performing well. My commitment to being a hard-working player drives me to improve every day.

I train rigorously year-round to enhance my skills, both academically and athletically, by participating in club and high school volleyball. Additionally, I attend various clinics and lift weights in the gym, all of which contribute to improving my performance on the court.

Off the court, I work hard to maintain a high GPA. I am striving take honors classes and take early college classes to set myself up for the best. I am planning to graduate with CTE Honors, Stem Honors, Academic Honors, and Summa Cum Laude; which is a 3.8+ or higher GPA.  I also volunteer at local youth volleyball clinics, helping to teach younger generations.

My dream is to attend a college where I can compete both on the volleyball court and in the classroom. I am open to all options and want to find the right college match for me, at the highest level of competition. I hope to become a role model to my peers and make my parents proud.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
