I started playing volleyball during my 7th-grade year in middle school and fell in love with the sport. As one of the youngest players for the Meridian High varsity team, I learned a valuable lesson of what I can accomplish when pushing myself at a higher level. This experience has contributed to me volunteering my time to the leadership council for the volleyball program at Meridian High. In addition to volleyball, I have a strong belief in higher education and achieving academic success. As a member of the National Honor Society, I push myself on a daily basis to maintain high grades while also giving back to the community through volunteer work.
I envision college to be another avenue of which I can continue to push myself both in volleyball and at a higher academic level. My goal is to obtain a bachelors in either Archeology or Anthropology and a minor in Spanish. I am looking forward to the challenges ahead of me as I thrive on achieving success, I also enjoy working hard whether solo or as a team, and supporting or rejoicing with others as we reach our goals.
