Julia Skoczen '23 Recruiting Profile

Hello I'm Julia Skoczen. I've been playing volleyball ever since 5th grade. I was the only freshman to make it on the Junior varsity and as a starter, and sophomore year I played on JV as a stater as well. Senior year I played on varsity(starter). Additionally I am a very dedicated student not only in sports but also school.  I spend additional hours practicing on my own, doing drills, and out of season I've committed to utilizing the weight room in the mornings to strengthen my body. In school I focus on my work, turn in my assignments, and take as many honors and AP classes as I can. Additionally I was selected to be a PE leader which takes leadership skills and responsibility. I would be a good candidate for a team because I work well with people, I have leadership skills, I find teamwork very important, and I'm great at communicating with teammates and coaches.
