Personal Statement

I am Natalie Dabrowski and I am a right-side/middle blocker in the class of 2025. I have been playing volleyball since 2015 and I love the competitive edge and all the lasting friendships you make. From the first time I played in a game, I knew that volleyball is the sport I want to stick with. I have been playing at MOD VBC for 4 years and before that I played at Energy VBC and Division 1 VBC. I have been on varsity at DePaul College Prep for the past 2 seasons. I enjoy pushing myself to be my very best everyday at practice and working hard alongside my teammates to make each other better. I am a very hard-working player and I am able to adjust well to mix in with any team in multiple positions. I consistently am able to switch between middle blocker and right side on both my school and club team.  I work on getting better outside of practice as-well by spending lots of my free time working out in the gym and pushing myself hard at the lifting provided to me through club and school.

I value my schoolwork just as much as I value my athletics. I have maintained very good grades throughout my entire career by working hard. I am a member of 3 honor societies including Spanish, Science and National Honor Society. I am also taking multiple college level classes and maintaining high grades. I am a part of multiple clubs and recently organized an event in Mind the Cap Club at my school. I want to attend a school where I can push myself in the classroom and on the court. I want to be able to work hard alongside teammates that are pushing me to reach my own personal goals along with the team goals. My goal is to become a physical therapist, so I want to go somewhere that will help me achieve that goal along with providing me many opportunities for growth. I also care about the environment of the school and my hope is to be in an environment that pushes me but still supports and accepts me.

NCSA COLLEGE RECRUITING®

NCSA College Recruiting® (NCSA) is the nation’s leading collegiate recruiting source for more than 500,000 student-athletes and 42,000 college coaches. By taking advantage of this extensive network, more than 92 percent of NCSA verified athletes play at the college level. The network is available to high school student-athletes around the country through valued relationships with the NFLPA, FBU, NFCA and SPIRE. Each year, NCSA educates over 4 million athletes and their parents about the recruiting process through resources on its website, presentations of the critically-acclaimed seminar College Recruiting Simplified, and with Athletes Wanted, the book written by NCSA founder Chris Krause.
