Christina Walton '18 Recruiting Profile

My name is Christina Walton and I play Right Side and Middle for Lincoln Park High School and Chicago Elite Volleyball Club; class of 2018 located in Chicago, Illinois. I am a four year starter and I only have 4 years of club experience. Some of my best accomplishments to date are most improved player awards all three years of high school, making the Varsity team all three years of high school, and playing up on the 18 elite team (club) my sophomore year. I started playing volleyball my 8th grade year and I’ve worked extremely hard to improve my skills to compete with girls that have been playing a long time. It can be a little challenging because I live in the inner city of Chicago where volleyball is not a popular sport and there are very few teams; so I use every opportunity to get better such fitness center and summer camps. This work ethic has made me a very determined person on and off the court. Keeping high grades is very important to me, which is why I take double honors & AP classes to push myself academically, I am constantly trying to better myself and learn new skills to be the best I can be. This club season I will also be playing on Chicago Elites 18 Elite team.

I would be an excellent candidate for any team because I am a very  coachable player who puts team first, extremely hard worker and an excellent representative of a student/athlete.

My desire is to earn a college scholarship to play volleyball and receive a great education resulting in a graduate degree in Business.
