I started attending Volleyball camps when I was in 2nd grade. I started playing on our school Volleyball 3rd grade and strive to keep playing as long as I am able. I have been specialized as a Setter my entire volleyball career, as well as playing Middle hitter three Club seasons ago and my 8th grade school season. I have adapted to any position my coaches have requested of me. This summer I attended the Huskers Volleyball Camp for setting and attacking. I feel I learned so much and have adapted my volleyball skills from those camps.
I currently am interested in a career in Sports Medicine. I attended, as a Delegate, the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists Congress at UMASS in June 2019. I feel the calling to major in Kinesiology or Exercise Science , then attend a graduate school for Sports Medicine.
As an 8th grader at South Central Middle school, I was a member of the 2018 Lady Falcons volleyball team. Together as a team, we were the IESA 8-2A Regional 16 Champions and the IESA 8-2A Sectional 8 Champions.
I was a member of the 2018 Lady Cougar Volleyball team at South Central High School. I was selected as 1 of only 2 freshmen to play on the JV team for the 2018-2019 school year. I was the setter for the JV and Varsity school teams during the fall 2019 season of my sophomore year at SCHS. I was the Varsity setter for the 2020-2021 school season once we were allowed to return to play. I am currently in my 4th season with Air Assault Volleyball Club as a setter on AAVC 18J.
I was to journey to Australia in the summer of 2021 with Team Illinois to play volleyball. Unfortunately, COVID-19 had other plans and the team will not be traveling this summer.
My family is very supportive of all I do. My mom is my biggest supporter! My dad has always been my Hero, in May of 2021 my dad returned from a 11 month deployment. He has served 20+ years and has always cheered me on no matter where he was in the world!
