I began playing volleyball in 6th grade, but I fell in love with it in 7th grade. Between moving schools and many hard times, volleyball was always there. It has taught me to speak up and use my voice. One reason I love volleyball is that it shows the players if you really want something in life, you have to work for it.
Academically, I strive for a 4.0 GPA. I take part in classes that will challenge me and help me later on in life. I work very hard to get good grades, and I plan to do the same in college.
