•I’m a versatile, Defensive player with an eye like a hawk…I have a strong ability to “see” the opponents’ court and find the open spots to score a point. As a DS, I can “read” the angles of the opponent hitters and react quickly to play those angles and dig up the hits. Many coaches have complimented me on this ability. Small but Mighty – My high school coach has told me, “You are not the tallest player, but you’re a very smart player; when you’re smart, you make things happen and score points”
I love spending time with my family. Our pastime is to play cards, ping-pong and outdoor tennis. I am the youngest of three kids…Bro is 26 and lives in St Louis (collegiate golfer for 4 years) and my sister is 22 and is finishing her last year of college (lives at home; she played competitive vball and college vball for 2 years).
Faith and Family are important to me. I attend church on a regular basis; I’m blessed to be part of a family whose faith is important to all of us. I am a member of Fellowship of Christian Athletes (FCA); This year I was appointed by the Director (teacher) to be one of the Officers of the club. I am also involved in the Spanish Club and FCCLA (Family, Career and Community Leaders of America). In this Club, our focus is to help families, homeless, trouble kids, etc; we cook dinners for them, play games, give Christmas presents, host a party and much more.
