I have had a strong love for volleyball since I was in third grade. I started playing with our local art and rec center, then joined club volleyball in fourth grade. I have been playing club volleyball with the same team for the past seven years, as well as subbing with other club teams. I have been playing school volleyball since seventh grade. I was able to move up to a varsity starter as a freshman. I enjoy being an outside hitter because it shows how much of a team sport volleyball is. I need a good pass and a good set to get a good hit. I know every position on the team is important. On and off season I am always training by working out and getting extra reps in. The days that I just want to lay in bed and do nothing I motivate myself to actually do something because I'm not going to go far by laying in bed. Volleyball has taught me to have good leadership skills and to be competitive but still have good sportsman ship. My goal in life is to go to a good academical college and play volleyball there.
